Government Plane to Cost as Much as US$ 42 Million, According to Business Daily
Ljubljana, 3 April - The controversy surrounding the purchase of a new airplane for the Slovene government seems set to continue, as the business daily Finance writes on Wednesday that the US$ 35 million price tag on French-made Falcon 900 EX does not include the VAT. Including VAT, the Falcon will thus cost a total of US$ 42 million, according to Finance, which adds that the difference amounts to almost half of the pay rise that Slovene teachers are currently demanding.
