Trade Unions of the Corporate Sector Suspend Social Agreement Negotiations with Gov't
Ljubljana, 3 April - Negotiations on the social agreement between social partners - the government, employers and trade unions - were suspended on Wednesday. A decision to this effect was taken by the trade unions representatives associated in the Economic and Social Council (ESS) after it has become unclear what consequences partial negotiations on higher wages in the public sector, especially those of medical doctors' trade union Fides, would have.
