Peterle Officially a Candidate for Representative of Applicants in Convention Presidency
Ljubljana, 4 April - Slovene lawmaker Lojze Peterle has officially been named as a candidate to represent the EU applicant countries in the presidency of the Convention that is laying the groundwork for the adoption of institutional reforms of the EU. Peterle was proposed by the Czech and Hungarian lawmakers, while a final vote on the representatives of the applicants is expected to take place on 15 April.
