SAZU Concerned about Foreign Influence on Slovene Language
Ljubljana, 5 April - A statement on the Slovene language was adopted by SAZU on Wednesday pointing out the self-underestimation of the mother tongue and its adaptation to other languages, especially English, the state's delay in passing legislation on Slovene as the official language, and the indifference of authorities towards the deterioration of the Slovene publishing.
