France for Slovenia's Accession to NATO and EU, Says French Foreign Minister
Paris, 5 April - France supports Slovenia in its efforts to join the EU and NATO, said French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine at a working meeting with Slovene counterpart Dimitrij Rupel in Paris on Friday, according to the Slovene delegation. EU negotiations are going well and Slovenia is not a problematic country, stressed Vedrine, expecting no complications in the final stage of negotiations. According to the same source, France's support of NATO enlargement is clear and so is the country's support for Slovenia's NATO membership.
