Slovenia Gets Back-Stroke Bronze in Moscow

Moscow, 7 April - Slovenia's Blaz Medvesek swam to bronze in 200m individual back-stroke at the World Short-Course Swimming Championships in Moscow. His time 1:53.66, Slovenia's new national record, was bettered by Aaron Peirsol of the United States, who set a new world record at 1:51.17. Croatia's Marko Strahija came in second at 1:53.08.
