It Was Public Opinion That Helped End Doctors' Strike, Health Minister Says
Ljubljana, 8 April - Public opinion contributed the most to the end of doctors' strike last week, as it was extremely unfavourable, more than towards any other strike so far, Health Minister Dusan Keber told the Monday edition of weekly Mladina. No injustice has been done to doctors, and even if that had been the case, the strike is not the right response, Keber said, adding that a threat with a doctors' strike is similar to that with a nuclear bomb, as the threat itself is already questionable, while its realisation is not possible.
