Violation of Slovene Symbol in Trieste Provokes Harsh Reactions
Ljubljana, 8 April - The bust of major Slovene poet Srecko Kosovel was violated in Trieste's public park on Sunday. The police is still investigating the matter, while Slovenia and the Slovene minority in Italy condemned this act. Slovene Ambassador to Italy Vojko Volk was tasked by the Slovene Foreign Ministry on Monday to appeal to the Italian Foreign Ministry, Slovene FM Dimitrij Rupel told a press conference.
