Density of Slovenia's Motorway Infrastructure Higher than EU Average
Luxembourg, 9 April - Slovenia is the only EU applicant country that has a density of motorway infrastructure higher than the EU average, data of the European statistics office, Eurostat, shows. In 1999, EU's motorway infrastructure was six times denser than in the ten EU candidate countries of Central Europe, according to the research on European transport infrastructure development published on Tuesday.
