Minorities from Both Sides of Border Discuss Their Future within EU
Ljubljana, 9 April - Representatives of the Slovene minority in Italy and the Italian minority in Slovenia discussed what the situation would be like for them after Slovenia joins the EU in a show that was broadcast on the Slovene national radio on Tuesday. The minorities discovered that they have little information on each other, which is the reason for not having co-operated before. However, both agreed that a Europe without frontiers is an opportunity for both communities, regardless of the fact that no financial aid can be expected from the EU.
