The Government is Too Reserved Towards NATO Integration, Says Opposition Party
Ljubljana, 10 April - Increasingly worrying information about the reorganisation, employment and the purchase of equipment in the Slovene Armed Forces has been released to the public recently, which is particularly concerning given the upcoming NATO summit in November, when the Alliance is to invite new countries to join, an MP of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) told a news conference on Wednesday. The party is also concerned about "the strong campaign of the civil society against Slovenia's integration into NATO and a reserved government attitude towards this issue," said MP Janez Drobnic.
