Higher Veterinary Charges for the Transport of Animals as of Friday

Ljubljana, 10 April - Higher charges for veterinary examinations at border crossings for the transport and imports as well as exports of animals will be enforced as of Friday. The transport of up to 50 animals will be charged SIT 45,000 (EUR 200), which is a 25-percent increase. SIT 450 (EUR 2) will be charged for each additional animal, says the decree, published in the Official Gazette on 4 April.
