34 Percent of Largest Slovene Bank to Be Sold to KBC, Says Commission
Ljubljana, 11 April - The state commission overseeing the privatisation of NLB, Slovenia's largest bank, took a decision on Thursday to propose to Finance Minister Anton Rop that a 34-percent share of NLB be sold to the Belgian banking and insurance group KBC, the Finance Ministry said. The national radio Slovenija reported that the deal is estimated to be worth some 100 billion Slovene tolars or 445 million euros.
