Slovenia Establishes Forum on Future of Europe
Ljubljana, 11 April - In a bid to give the Slovene civil society a chance to have its say on the future of Europe, a Slovene forum that is to discuss the matter was founded on Thursday in Ljubljana under the patronage of Slovene President Milan Kucan, Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor and Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek. The opinions of the Slovene civil society are expected to be of help for Slovene officials participating in the European Convention that is laying the groundwork for institutional reforms of the Union.
