Slovenia to be "Bridge" Between the EU and Non-Members from SE Europe, Says Schwimmer
Ljubljana, 12 April - As a future member of the European Union, Slovenia will play a special role in Southeastern Europe - that of a "bridge" to the non-members in the region. Moreover, it will also be in a position to promote co-operation with the CoE and its programmes in the region, Secretary General of the CoE Walter Schwimmer told reporters at the conclusion of his one-day official visit to Slovenia on Friday.
