ZLSD President Calls on His Divided Party to Stick to pro-NATO Stance
Otočec, 13 April - Opening a heated party debate on Slovenia's integration into NATO on Saturday, President of the United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) Borut Pahor strongly advocated Slovenia's membership of NATO, calling upon his party to stick to "one official opinion" on the issue. Although the ZLDS last June adopted a pro-NATO stance, some of the party leaders at today's conference at Otocec repeated their arguments against Slovenia's joining the Alliance.
