Slovene Portfolio Investments Abroad on the Increase
Ljubljana, 15 April - Slovene portfolio investments on foreign markets amounted to SIT 97 billion (EUR 432 million) at the end of last year, which was a rise of SIT 17.3 billion (EUR 77 million) over the previous year. Bonds were dominant among portfolio investments, accounting for a 96.3-percent share. Half of the investments abroad were those in securities of Slovene issuers which are floated on the foreign markets, particularly the Slovene Eurobonds. Investments in investment funds were on the rise last year, show the data of the Securities Market Agency.
