MPs to Embark upon Very Busy Session
Ljubljana, 16 April - The National Assembly is to convene for its April session on Tuesday afternoon to discuss some 30 bills or changes to legislation, including the bill to privatise insurance companies, the employment bill and an initiative to hold a referendum on Slovenia's NATO membership before the country receives an invitation to join. Before the MPs actually begin to debate new legislation, Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek and cabinet ministers will answer lawmakers' questions about topical issues.
