Latvian President to Pay First Official Visit to Slovenia
Ljubljana, 16 April - Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga is due to begin an official two-day visit to Slovenia on Wednesday upon the invitation of her Slovene counterpart, President Milan Kucan. Apart from bilateral relations, EU enlargement and NATO integration will top the agenda during what is Vike-Freiberga's return and first red-carpet visit to Ljubljana. Kucan paid an official visit to Riga in March 2000.
