President Kucan Pleased With Ombudsman's Work
Ljubljana, 16 April - President Milan Kucan, who on Tuesday paid a visit to Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek, positively assessed the work of the Slovene human rights ombudsman, saying that in the seven years since its introduction, the citizens have recognised the role of this institution, the ombudsman's office said. Hanzek, on the other hand, pointed out that citizens should be encouraged to be more active in enforcing their rights.
