Commission Sends Agriculture Standpoints to EU Members, No Official Response from Slovenia as Yet

Brussels/Ljubljana, 16 April - The European Commission sent the proposed negotiating standpoints for agriculture, deemed to be one of the most complex chapters of the negotiating process with the EU candidate countries, to its 15 member states late on Monday, sources in Brussels confirmed on Tuesday. The Slovene side has so far declined to comment the move, saying that it will do so only after it has a chance to study the standpoints.
