EU Rejects Slovenia's Demand for Special Treatment on Steel; Reliefs Possible
Brussels, 16 April - The EU on Tuesday rejected Slovenia's demand to get special treatment or to be exempt from EU's measures taken to protect its steel market against a possible increase in steel imports in the wake of the latest U.S. closure of its steel market. The EU, however, indicated some possible reliefs, Slovene Economics Ministry State Secretary Renata Vitez said after today's talks with European Commission officials in Brussels.
