Census Results Could Serve as Basis to Consider Church's Wishes, Says Ljubljana Archbishop
Maribor, 17 April - If Slovenia's census shows that more than half of the population is declared Roman Catholics, that would serve as an important basis to better consider wishes and demands of the Church, the Ljubljana Archbishop and Slovene Metropolitan Franc Rode told the Maribor-based daily Vecer. In an interview published on Wednesday, Rode said that if the results are worse, then it would be logical that those groups that are so fervently defending some minorities, show the same concern for the Roman Catholic Church.
