Privatisation of Slovenia's Telekom Will Not Be Shelved
Ljubljana, 18 April - The privatisation of Telekom Slovenija would be suspended and a more appropriate moment would be awaited, if the issue of Slovene citizens' investments into the telecommunications network had not emerged. This was said by State Secretary to the Ministry of the Information Society Tomaz Kalin in response to a news report quoting chair of the Telekom supervisory board Leonard F. Peklar as saying that the privatisation of this 66.5-state owned company is about to be put off.
