Gov't Adopts Bill on Elections to the European Parliament
Ljubljana, 18 April - The Slovene government adopted on Thursday a bill on elections to the European parliament and sent it into parliamentary procedure. The EU-compatible bill opens the door for the staging of the next elections to the European Parliament, scheduled for 2004, in Slovenia and consequently Slovenia's incorporation in the institutional structure of the EU, Interior Ministry State Secretary Gregor Virant told the press following the session.
