Gov't to Decide on the Sale of Largest Slovene Bank Today
Ljubljana, 18 April - The Slovene government resumed its regular weekly session late on Thursday with the only issue left on its agenda being the sale of a 34-percent share in Slovenia's largest bank, the NLB. Earlier in the day the government adjourned its session due to a meeting between parties that make up the ruling coalition to inform all the coalition partners on the agreements and contracts concerning the sale of the NLB to the Belgian banking group KBC. According to the head of the government press relations office Alja Brglez, the government would present the details of its decision on the sale to the press on Friday.
