Slovene Red Cross Elects New Management
Ljubljana, 18 April - A new president of the Slovene Red Cross (RKS) was elected at Thursday's extraordinary general assembly. Janko Predan was appointed to the post, while Tatja Kostnapfel-Rihtar became the new secretary general. Today's assembly was called especially to elect new leadership, as the former president Vladimir Topler and secretary general Mirko Jelenic resigned in the light of a recent scandal linked to the crediting of private individuals from RKS funds.
