Slovene Candidate Fails to be Elected as Judge at International Court of Maritime Law
New York, 20 April - Signatories of the International Convention on Maritime Law elected seven new judges for the International Court of Maritime Law in New York on Friday, however, Slovene candidate Mirko Pavliha failed to be appointed. Pavliha lost in the third round of voting for the Eastern European representative against Bulgarian candidate Aleksander Jankov.
