Janez Drnovsek Celebrates Ten Years of Premiership
Ljubljana, 21 April - Ten years will pass on Monday, 22 April, since Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek was first elected to the post. After that, he has been elected three more times, including to run the incumbent government, the sixth since Slovenia's independence. The tenth anniversary of Drnovsek's first government will be on 14 May. The first Slovene prime minister between 1990 and 1992 was Lojze Peterle, while Andrej Bajuk was the third prime minister in 2000.
