Voter Support for the EU Up, Support for NATO Down, a Poll Shows
Ljubljana, 22 April - As many as 57.6 percent of those questioned in a poll published by the daily Dnevnik on Monday said they would vote in favour of Slovenia's accession to the EU in a referendum, while 40.5 percent of respondents said they would vote for NATO. Compared to respective polls carried out in February and January, the support for EU membership increased by 10 percent (47.9% in February), while the support for NATO membership dropped by 7.4 percent (47.9% percent in January).
