Ljubljana, 22 April - Slovenia reigns prominent in the latest annual World Press Freedom Review of the International Press Institute (IPI), a Vienna-based global organisation dedicated to the promotion and protection of press freedom, as a brutal attack on Miro Petek, a journalist of the daily Vecer, has been highlighted as evidence that even countries with relatively good track records on press freedom are not immune to serious press freedom violations.
