France's Surprising Turn to the Right Echoes in Vecer
Maribor, 23 April - France is in a shock which the country probably did not see since the formation of the Vichy collaborationist government during WWII. The relatively centre-oriented France, which was in the last five years led by President Jacques Chirac, who was considered as centre-left oriented, and the socialist Prime Minister Lionel Jospin, obviously turned completely to the political right, the daily Vecer writes on Tuesday.
