Kosir Fails to Win Parliament's Support in Bid to Get Re-Elected ZSSS Director
Ljubljana, 24 April - The National Assembly on Wednesday rejected the candidacy of incumbent director of the Slovene Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) Franc Kosir to get reelected to the post for a third four-year term. Kosir, who was put forward by the ZZZS assembly, only managed to get the support of 23 MPs, most of them from the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDS) and New Slovenia (NSi), while 44 out of the 69 present legislators voted against him.
