Europe Minister Warns Against Exaggerated Stir over Negotiations on Financial Issues
Ljubljana, 24 April - Addressing Wednesday's session of the parliamentary European affairs commission, Slovene Minister of European Affairs and the chief Slovene negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik warned against causing an exaggerated stir over the negotiating process between Slovenia and the EU on the financial aspects of membership. No concrete changes can be expected to the European standpoints before the end of the negotiating process that is why moderation and tolerance are needed. In the opposite case, the Slovene citizens will not be able to form the whole picture when the time to decide at a referendum on membership comes around, Potocnik warned.
