Slovene PM Downbeat about Possibility of Running for Presidency
Ljubljana, 25 April - Slovene Prime Janez Drnovsek told a network of local radio stations in Slovenia on Thursday that he currently sees no possibility of running at the presidential elections that are to take place this autumn. Drnovsek's statements come in response to continuing media speculation about whether the 51-year-old prime minister, who has led Slovenia for most of the last ten years and has guided it through the transition period after independence in 1991, would run for president.
