The Right to Trial in Reasonable Term Still not Guaranteed, Justice Minister Notes

Ljubljana, 29 April - The most important finding of the first-ever integral analysis of backlogs in Slovene courts, carried out by the Justice Ministry and the Supreme Court, is that courts could work normally with current cases if there were no backlogs from past years. As a result, the legally guaranteed right to a trial in reasonable term is still not guaranteed, said Monday Justice Minister Ivo Bizjak.
