Merger of Two Slovene Insurers to Be Postponed
Maribor, 29 April - Shareholders of Slovenia's third largest insurance company on Monday backed up the management's proposal to annul the 2000 merger contract with another insurer, as both companies have supplied fresh capital since, so the exchange ratio is no longer adequate. Still the companies have not backed out of the merger and Zavarovalnica Maribor is to decide on renewing the procedure at the next assembly on 20 May.
