Largest Ever Slovene Unit Ready to Leave for Peace-Keeping Mission in Bosnia
Ljubljana, 30 April - The largest ever Slovene Armed Forces unit is prepared to leave for Bosnia-Herzegovina to participate in a peace-keeping operation there. On Tuesday, a report on the preparedness of the unit, comprising 109 professional soldiers of the 10th motorized battalion, was submitted by Branimir Furlan, commander of the armed forces' first brigade, to deputy chief of staff Anton Turk, the Defence Ministry said.
