Bill on Election into European Parliament Foresees Equal Options for Slovenes and Foreigners
Ljubljana, 1 May - The Slovene government has recently sent a bill to be discussed in parliament, that is to enable Slovenia to hold an election of its representatives for the European parliament, as the country is set to become an EU memeber by 2004. In line with the Nice Treaty, Slovene voters will have a right to elect seven members of the parliament.
