Slovenia Presents its Bid for NATO before U.S. Congressmen
Washington, 2 May - Ambassadors of ten NATO candidate countries, including Slovenia, presented their cases before the U.S. Subcommittee for European Affairs of the Congress Committee for International Relations on Wednesday. Slovene Ambassador to the U.S. Davorin Kracun stressed that Slovenia has a broad political consensus for NATO and EU membership among all parliamentary parties, the government and the opposition and the support of the majority of the population.
