PM Drnovsek Meets UN Assistant Secretary General Tuerk
New York, 8 May - Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, who is in New York to attend a UN General Assembly session on children later on Wednesday, has met with UN assistant secretary-general for political affairs, Slovene Danilo Tuerk. The latter said the meeting was a private one and that it chiefly dealt with Slovenia's progress in the past years. The pair also exchanged views on major world problems. Meanwhile Slovene officials visited the UN headquarters to present the Regional Centre for Psychosocial Welfare of Children.
