Slovenia and Croatia Fail to Reach Compromise on Oil Transport
Zagreb, 8 May - Slovenia and Croatia did not resolve the oil transport dispute at Wednesday's meeting of experts in Zagreb. Croatian Economics Ministry official Olgica Spevec said she would inform the Croatian government of Slovenia's demand that the corridors from the Jelsane/Rupa and Starod/Pasjak border crossings to the Croatian port of Rijeka be opened for crude oil derivatives transport. However, she did not disclose when the government would take a decision on Slovenia's demand.
