Largest Slovene Brewer Makes Renewed Bid for Banjaluska Pivara

Laško, 9 May - Slovenia's largest brewer Pivovarna Lasko has filed a renewed bid for the purchase of a 53.2-percent state share in the Bosnian brewer Banjaluska pivara. The new bid for the Bosnian brewer was made on the basis of an agreement with the privatisation agency of the Republic of Srpska and was filed on Tuesday. Pivovarna Lasko's supplemented bid comes after the world's second-largest brewer, Interbrew, backed away from its initially selected bid for the share.
