Parliament Speaker Discusses Homophobia with Gay and Lesbian NGOs
Ljubljana, 9 May - Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor on Thursday received Tatjana Greif of the lesbian organisation SKUC-LL and Miha Lobnik of Legebitra, a youth group for gays and lesbians, who submitted to Pahor the findings of a research on the discrimination of gays and lesbians in Slovenia, and a file on homophobia in Slovenia in the past eleven years. As six NGOs uniting gays and lesbians said in a press release, this was the first such high-ranking reception in the 16 years of the movements' striving for the equality of gays and lesbians in Slovenia.
