Slovene Steelworks' Liabilities Transformed into State Share, Talum to Be Sold
Ljubljana, 9 May - Some major changes soon await two state-owned Slovene companies, aluminum maker Talum and the Slovene Steelworks group. The government decided on Thursday to transform SIT 34.4 billion (EUR 152.8 million) of its liabilities to the steelworks group into the state's ownership share, while Talum, owned to 80 percent by the state-owned electricity grid manager Eles, is to be put up for sale.
