Delo Looks into Proposed Supplementary Budget
Ljubljana, 10 May - The government on Thursday adopted a SIT 15 billion (EUR 66.6 million) package of savings measures. The fact that the government has drafted a supplementary budget in the (post)recession year 2002 is no surprise for experts. It seems that the move came as more of a shock to some ministers, who, in the few hours leading up to the government session, quickly managed to add an additional three billion tolars (EUR 13.3 million) of signed bills to the national budget, Delo writes on Friday.
