Leading Officials from the Balkans Discuss Vision for the Future of the Region
Ljubljana, 10 May - "The Balkans has never been closer to Europe than today," Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic stressed while addressing the 51st World Congress of the International Press Institute (IPI) on Friday in Ljubljana. Djukanovic was among three leading officials from countries of the former Yugoslavia who presented their vision for the future of the region at the first thematic part of the four-day congress. All of the officials echoed the belief that the Balkans' future is an issue that also affects the future of the whole of Europe.
