IPI General Assembly Condemns Press Violations by Israelis and Palestinians
Ljubljana, 12 May - The International Press Institute (IPI) general assembly condemned violations of the freedom of the press committed in the Palestinian territories in one of a number of resolutions it adopted on the final day of the world congress in Ljubljana on Sunday. Among the other resolutions IPI adopted was one on terrorism and the subsequent limitation of civil liberties by authorities, as well as another on the formation of the African Union.
