Maribor, 15 May - The adoption of changes to the defence act on Tuesday was a big step towards restructuring the Slovene Armed Forces. Especially in the sense of providing the norms under which Slovenia is to meet its international obligations and establishing internal relations in the forces and the status of soldiers, a Slovene daily says in Wednesday's edition and goes on to point out that while the amendments are important they only represent one among several stages on the path towards a goal that is hard to attain - a small, rational and efficient armed forces.
