Italy Does Not Intend to Return Artworks to Slovenia, Radio A Reports
Rome, 15 May - A collection of Venetian Renaissance works of art taken by the Italian authorities from Slovene and Croatian coastal cities in 1940 to Rome was presented in the Italian capital on Wednesday, Trieste-based Radio A reported, adding that Italy has no intention of returning these works of art, although Slovenia delivered on Tuesday a diplomatic note to Italian Ambassador to Slovenia Norberto Capello.
